The Wurtsboro Board of Trade

The Village of Wurtsboro and the Wurtsboro Board of Trade are pleased to introduce our new joint venture... Canal Park!

This collaborative effort will transform the vacant, Village-owned property at the intersection of Canal and Pine Streets (across from the Wurtsboro Fire Department) into publicly accessible recreational space for youth and adults, alike!

Currently, the scope of this endeavor includes a full-size basketball court, pickle-ball court, bleachers, fencing, and parking, with the primary funding source being secured through the acquisition of grants.

Our goal is to provide the community with a safe place to play, exercise, and socialize, ultimately promoting physical health, mental health, and social skills.

Community support for an initiative such as this is very important to us.
